The Narochansky region always involved many tourists to itself with beauty and an opportunity of a good rest. Lake Naroch is the biggest lake in Belarus with area 79,6 sq.km and with the greatest depth 24,08 m. The lake is extremely pure, over 20 kinds of fishes lives in it. Local woods, as well as lakes, are unique; the special attention is involved with the Karelian birch. Here is created the national park. There is the largest in the republic sanatorium "Naroch" and a camp sites. The comfortable period for rest lasts about 240 days, and the swimming season - about 100 days. Here, in the unique place on a planet, the primitive inundated oak groves were kept! Park is located on territory 75 000 h; it is located more than 30 lakes, proceeds a little small rivers on reserved territory.

Aurochs and wild boars, elks and deers, lynces and wolves, badgers and beavers; catfish, pike perch and even sterlet inhabit waters, and among set of birds is such rare kinds, as the black stork, the eagle owl, the grey crane and many others animals inhabit in park. Here are organized not only interesting naturalists', ecological excursions, but also romantic travels - excursions on river Prypyat by tourist steam-ships. It is possible to go through the present water adventure - a river photosafari to visit a museum of a nature in Tourov. Foot and bicycle routes pass to inhabitant places of owls, to the king-oak, to the auroch reserve. But the park is not only the most beautiful nature; you will see the ancient slavic settlements and monuments of archeology. It is a history of thousand-year Tourov with the Kirill Tourovsky monument and the church of XIX c.

Water ecological systems - the main riches of Braslav lakes: from uncountable hills and ridges fascinate open spaces of a water smooth surface with set of islands, labyrinthes a channel and gulfs open; here lives 30 kinds of fishes. 44 % of park territory are occupied woods. The flora of the region totals over 800 kinds of plants from which about 20 rare and disappearing are written down in Red Book of Belarus. The largest lakes are Driviaty, Snudy, Strusto, Voyso, Bogeno. It is possible to catch fish very well, and in woods wait for you wood riches.

There are over 30 tourist objects on territory of park: sanctuaries of nature, architecture, archeology. Braslav (mention of XI c) attractes it's architectural monuments, Zamkov's mountain. Masterpieces of vicinities are Heart of Jesus church in v. Slabodca; wooden St. Nicholas church of XVIII c in v. Necolaunchy where descendants of Old-Believers live; wooden St. Petro-Pavlovsk church in v. Drisvjaty; a church of Carmelites' monastery (sec. half. of XVIII c) in Druia. There is a study of local region museum with more than 15000 exhibits, the mini-museum of wooden sculpture, the house of handcrafts, workshops on weaving from straw and a rod; the tourist infrastructure is rather well advanced. This region gives a splendid rest and unforgettable impressions.

The opportunity to visit the unique reserve which is included in the world network biosphere reserves of UNESCO, awarded with the European diplom is given you. It is located on the area in 81 000 h, totals more than 6 000 kinds of wildlife, unique woods and marshs, lakes and river's complexes. Here up to present time were kept untouched nooks of nature.

You'll make foot excursion by reserve, observing its rich flora and fauna; visit the Museum of a nature where will see representatives of flora and fauna of the reserve, and will observe animals in their habitat environment in demonstration open-air cages. Excursion acquaints with the oldest national park on territory of the republic, included in the List of the World cultural and natural heritage. This majestic century wood for the first time is mentioned in Ipatjeuskaia manuscript in 983. The national park occupies the area of 164482 hectars and represents the unique nature sanctuary, the only large forest in Europe, kept almost untouched. The Belovezha dense forest is unique beauty of a nature, rich fauna and birds. The king of the dense forest is the auchor, the largest and rare representative of Europe fauna.
